Q&A

Get the answers. And get to work.

There are many benefits to seeking work through Express Employment Professionals. Many of our applicants ask us these questions – we thought we would share:

Q. What types of jobs does Express offer?

A. We recruit for positions at all levels, specializing in administrative, commercial, light industrial, or your professional field. Our Employment Specialists can help you find anything from short-term work to the next step in your career.  Click on Express Indy South jobs to see our open jobs and Click here to apply on line and register with Express Indy South.

Q. Do I pay any fees?

No, applicants are never charged a fee at Express.

Q. What is the history of Express?

Our local office opened in 2005 and we have placed over 3000 associates into jobs on the Southside since then.  We have quickly become the Employment Expert’s on the Southside and work with over 250 clients.   In Indianapolis, Express has quickly become the largest locally owned Employment Agency (ranked by IBJ, Sept 2008).  We have 6 offices that are located all over Indy and surrounding areas.  We have been in the Indy Metro market for 13 years.  You can see the location of the other offices by going to indy.expresspros.com.  Express also has a network of over 600 franchise-owned offices across North America, South Africa, and Australia.  Express was formerly known as Express Personnel Services.  We are the 4th largest national employment agency in the US.  We updated our name in March of 2008 to reflect the variety of our career offerings.

Q. How are assignments made?

When we receive a job order request from a client, we check our list of pre-qualified applicants to match skills with requirements. If your skills match, we’ll call you. If you’re interested in the assignment, we’ll give you all the details.

Q. Do I have to accept every assignment?

No, flexibility is one of the advantages of being an Express associate. However, once you

accept an assignment, Express depends on you to complete it.

Q. How long are the assignments?

Express assignments very from four hours to weeks to full-time career placement. When we make an assignment, we’ll provide you with the approximate length of time it should last.

Q. How often can I work?

This depends on your availability, the quality of your work, and the demand for your skills. We make every attempt to keep our employees as busy as they wish. However, Express cannot guarantee minimum number of hours.
